Global Sports Interactive - In April of 1999, Foundry was faced with the task of rescuing an initiative that represented six major brick-and-mortar sports retailers, called Global Sports Interactive (Dunhams, Sports Chalet, The Sports Authority, The Athlete's Foot, Sports and Rec, and MC Sports). The project was considerably behind schedule when Foundry got involved yet carried the mandate to launch the online e-commerce presences for each of the retailers by October - in time for the holiday shopping season. The initial integrator was unable to meet changing requirements and project milestones, thus Foundry was challenged to deliver these systems on time. Each of the six web sites was launched in time for the shopping rush. Today, The Sports Authority continues to represent one of the most successful retail sites on the Internet.
visit: WorldCom - As part of the WorldCom www.dstreet.com team, Foundry brought keen technical
and domain expertise to the development of one of the more complex e-systems on
the web. The development of this system required advanced architecture and design,
and state-of-the-art implementation. This system introduced complex process and
integration issues for which Foundry delivered exceptional solutions. This system
required call center integration, enterprise security, real-time messaging, services
commerce, and a complex product catalog. MCI - Foundry was hired by MCI to do an analysis of an existing order entry system that
resided on an aging technology. The result was a recommendation for a state-of-
the-art order entry system that MCI then contracted with Foundry to engineer.
Eventually delivered was a scalable, maintainable and multi-tier, client-server system
that was architected to evolve as technology evolves. Capital One - Capital One undertook a multi-million dollar enterprise initiative to develop an e-
systems platform that would be the basis of all of their e-systems development for
years to come. Foundry was hired to provide analysis and development of security
architectures for this platform. The result was a definitive security approach which
leveraged a modern security package, and positioned this platform for broadscale e-
commerce initiatives.
Dorado - Dorado Corporation provides an e-Commerce platform and applications for building and retaining
